Challenge // Trustmark is not as well-known as some of the top insurance carriers; therefore, we set out to build an awareness campaign to stretch our reach using broker print and online publications. Collaborating with Trustmark's Enterprise Strategy team, we came up with the "Expect Beyond." And then followed it up with a more targeted campaign tagline of "Beyond employee benefits to your trusted partner."

My role // Lead creative designer and designed the initial concept and image manipulation. I partnered with an image specialist, Dave Bernhardt, of Dave and Barry's Inc., providing him with art direction for the images for the more complicated manipulation tasks. I also was in charge of reformatting the ads for several different publications.

Challenge: Trustmark Small Business Benefits came to Creative Services asking for a new ad campaign for 2020 targeting level-funded plan options. The world was in the beginning stages of the pandemic and life was so unpredictable for many. Channeling that emotion, I partnered with the Enterprise Strategy team and we came up with “predictable.” Playing with the idea of items or events that are predictable in our everyday lives, like making bread in the oven or getting a haircut every few weeks.

My role: I was the lead creative designer and designed the initial concepts and image manipulation. Again, I partnered with image specialist, Dave Bernhardt providing him with art direction for adding the beyond marks to the gloves and the cape of the barber.
